The speaking voice is that of Jonathan Edwards, who is the executive director of Altar Revolution Ministries Inc.
A word about the founders...
There are really several people who have been an important part of this ministry since the beginning, and ultimately, Jesus Christ is the foundation we stand on, but there are three who are considered the "founders" of Altar Revolution Ministries. Those three are Jonathan Edwards, Reston Ansley, and Mike Dion.
All three have graduated from the Word of Life Bible Institute. Reston is currently attending the second year program, and Jon and Mike are working while building the ministry and preparing for the summer.
Altar Revolution was born while the three were attending Word of Life. They had a chance to do open air ministry in NYC under Word of Life missionaries, Del and Marian Benner, who have been inspirations to them, as well as others who work with Altar Revolution. Shortly after, plans began to unfold for a week of ministry in Tipton, Indiana, following graduation.
God provided about 14 volunteers who saw at least 17 decisions to trust Christ, and distibuted countless tracts, and audio tracts.
Jon, Reston, and Mike have become addicted. Serving God is the goal of their lives, and Altar Revolution is one way God has provided for them to reach the lost with His message of grace.
